Shared infrastructure for card payments
momentPay powers card acquiring and card issuing operations for financial institutions, processors and independent sales organisations. We build the switch, the issuing platform and the acquiring platform as one connected system.
One platform, deliberately
Most payment estates grow by accretion: a switch from one vendor, an issuing platform from another, a gateway bolted on later, and an integration layer holding it together.
momentPay is built the other way round. muNSwitch provides the transaction-processing core that connects merchants, terminals and digital channels to the card and UPI networks in real time. On the issuing side, the same core connects a bank's or program manager's own systems to those same networks as the institution answering for the cards it has issued. Koṣa Issuing and momentPay Acquiring are the operational platforms that sit on top.
A customer running a pure issuing business, a pure acquiring business, or both side by side is served by the same platform — without carrying the operational weight of capability they do not use.
Koṣa Issuing
Card issuing and payment account platform across fourteen operational modules.
momentPay Acquiring
Merchant acquiring from onboarding through settlement and disputes.
muNSwitch
The multi-protocol switch underneath both, acquiring and issuing.
momentPay Shield
The fraud and risk decisioning engine, pluggable into the authorization step.

How an evaluation runs
Technical evaluation
- Walk through technical and business requirements with your account team.
- Receive a custom architecture proposal based on your specific needs.
- Run a hands-on proof of concept with sample transactions.
- Review load-testing results benchmarked against your requirements.
Business evaluation
- Work through a cost comparison against your current solution.
- Build out the business case and expected return.
- Agree an implementation timeline and migration approach.
- Complete a compliance and regulatory requirements review.
